National Council on Disability To Conduct Community Briefing on Critical Issues for People with Disabilities in San Juan, Puerto Rico

WASHINGTON--The National Council on Disability (NCD) will conduct a community briefing on critical issues for people with disabilities on Wednesday, May 24, 2000, from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., at the Ritz Carlton San Juan Hotel, 6961 State Road No. 187, Isla Verde, Carolina, Puerto Rico.

NCD is an independent federal agency charged with advising the President and Congress on public policy affecting people with disabilities. It is currently coordinating a multi-year study on the implementation and enforcement of the Americans with Disabilities Act and other civil rights laws.
