National Council on Disability to Release
Americans with Disabilities Act Recommendations

WASHINGTON—The National Council on Disability (NCD) will release its report Righting the ADA at a news conference on December 1, 2004, at 10:00 a.m., in the Holeman Lounge at the National Press Club, 529 14th Street, NW, Washington, D.C.

The report contains NCD’s legislative proposal, entitled, “ADA Restoration Act,” which is intended to restore the protections of the Americans with Disabilities Act that have been restricted by several U.S. Supreme Court decisions over the past few years.
