| Welcome to the NCD Research Opportunities page. Although NCD is not a grant-making agency, it does conduct research that leads to the development of recommendations that enhance the quality of live for all Americans with disabilities and their families. To assist in this process, NCD creates cooperative agreements with people and organizations to help in the development of sound disability policies.
To that end, NCD is now using Grants.gov (www.grants.gov) to allow people and organizations to find prerelease notices for all competitive research (funding) opportunities at NCD and to link to the full announcements on this page.
Grants.gov includes more than $350 billion in annual grants from 26 federal agencies and enables grantors and the grant community to come together to make grants management easier and more efficient for everyone. State, local, and tribal governments, colleges and universities, non-profits, and other organizations have the access they need through Grants.gov to efficiently find grant opportunities in just one convenient online location-saving both grantors and the grant community time and money.
