Findings and recommendations contained in the publications in this section come from analyses of civil rights laws, mediation, court decisions, regulations, policy guidance, and models. Publications consider enforcement and compliance, barriers, impact, implementation, promising practices across communities, and the right of people with disabilities to participate in all aspects of society. This section includes but is not limited to the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Civil Rights of Institutionalized Persons Act, Voting Registration Act, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, the Olmstead decision, application of federal laws to telecommunications, hate crimes, assisted suicide, voting rights, genetic discrimination, livable communities, and coalition building.
